1. I will record a short tune (with an acoustic guitar of course; you had to ask?) that contains a nice balance of frequencies. This recording will be made "raw" with no EQ/effects. etc. added.

2. The recording will be made with:
a. Goodall Aloha GC sitka/koa
b. Audio Buddy Preamp/Direct box with phantom power
c. Two mics - one MXL 2001 large condenser and one MXL 603 small
condenser. The 2001 will be placed in front of the fretboard end of the
guitar and the 603 in front of the body end of the guitar. The mics will be
24 inches from the source and spaced 72 inches apart.
d. Each mic signal will be recorded on a seperate track on a Fostex MR-8
(16 bit/ 44.1 kHZ).
e. 5 seconds of ambient sound will be recorded before and after the tune.

3. Two .wav files will be generated representing the recording of the two mics and will be made available for downloading.
